RESEARCH VISITS Seoul - November 2022 A group of 11 UK academics, practitioners and students from the UK-SK Eyewitness Memory Network travelled to Seoul, Republic of Korea in November 2022. The group included members from Promat, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Portsmouth. Whilst in Seoul, the team took part in a variety of activities from conferences, discussions with students and criminal justice practitioners (including police officers, prosecutors, and prison officers) and tours of crime scene analysis units and prisons. As well as wonderful displays of traditional foods and cultural heritage sites. ​연구 소개 본 공동 연구는 두 가지 항목으로 구성됩니다. 목격자 라인업 식별의 정확도 향상 목격자 라인업 절차는 현재 서구의 형사 사건에서 유죄 용의자를 체포하는 데 중요한 역할을 하므로 목격자의 기억을 이해하고 정확한 라인업 절차를 개발하는 것은 형사사법제도의 효과적 기능에 있어 필수적입니다. 라인업 식별에 대한 대부분의 연구는 서양의 참가자 표본으로 수행되었으며, 전반적인 문화적 차이 및 인종 편견과 관련하여 여전히 지식의 격차가 존재합니다. 또한 현재 한국에서는 라인업 절차가 공식적으로 시행되지 않습니다. 따라서, 본 네트워크의 목적은 연구 팀의 전문 지식과 경험을 활용하고, 영국과 한국 간의 공동 연구를 증진시킴으로써 이 두 가지 문제를 모두 해결하고자 합니다. 수사 면담 절차의 개선 성공적인 형사 기소 및 가해자 신원 확인 은 목격자와의 면담에서의 성공적인 진상 조사에 의해 크게 좌우되지만, 협력적인 피면담자일지라도 정보를 얻어내는 것은 대체로 복잡합니다. 범죄가 종종 국경을 넘어 발생한다는 점을 감안할 때 , 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 목격자와 수사관 간의 면담은 가능한 한 생산적인 것이 중요합니다. 이에 본 네트워크는 면담 과정을 가장 잘 이해하고 개선시키기 위해 다양한 협력자 간 협력을 촉진하고자 합니다. 본 네트워크는 세 가지 주요 목표를 가지고 있습니다. 목표 1: 영국과 한국 내 심리학, 법학 및 범죄학을 포함한 다양한 학문 분야의 학술 연구자 간의 지속 가능한 사회 과학적 협력을 촉진 및 증진시키기 위해 본 네트워크를 소집하고 발전시키고자 합니다. 목표 2: 기금 제안을 알리기 위한 통합되고 협력적인 연구 안건을 수립하고 연구자, 특히 신입 연구자의 연구 역량을 수립합니다. 본 안건은 위에서 설명한 두 가지 연구 분야에 초점을 맞출 것입니다. 목표 3: 한국어 및 영어를 기반으로 한 연구 회의, 상호간 연구 방문 및 온라인 외부 참여 활동을 통해 지식 교류와 연구 영향력을 촉진하기 위해 영국과 한국의 보안 전문가, 경찰 및 기타 법률 전문가와 같은 학술-법률 실무자의 참여 및 연결을 조성하고자 합니다. ​주요 결과물은 다음과 같습니다: 영국과 한국에서 각각 한 번씩 이루어지는 두 번의 연구 컨퍼런스. 자세히 알고 싶다면 여기를 누르세요. 향후 프로젝트 및 학술-법률 실무자 컨퍼런스에 대한 개념적 내용 기록. 연구 자극 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 모의 범죄 및 라인업 자료 개발. 문화적 차이를 고려한 최근의 모범 사례에 대한 통찰 또는 정보 기록. 영국과 한국에서 각각 한 번씩 이루어지는 두 번의 연구 컨퍼런스. 자세히 알고 싶다면 여기를 누르세요. 향후 프로젝트 및 학술-법률 실무자 컨퍼런스에 대한 개념적 내용 기록. 연구 자극 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 모의 범죄 및 라인업 자료 개발. 문화적 차이를 고려한 최근의 모범 사례에 대한 통찰 또는 정보 기록.
